笠井一男 水彩画展 -from Venice to New York - は、お陰様で盛況のうちに終えることができました。 皆さんの支えがあってのことと心から感謝しています。 見よう見まねで水彩画を描き始めて10年。 最近、やっと水と絵の具で”遊ぶ”楽しさが分かってきた気がします。 奇しくも、日本の水彩画の流れが世界の水彩画の方向性とシンクロしてきていることを実感しています。 そして、それは、様々に幅を広げながらさらに加速していくに違いありません。 日本の水彩も、世界の水彩も、そして私自身の水彩も変わっていく最中。 だから今、水彩画は活気があって面白い！ The watercolor exhibition “from Venice to New York”, was held successfully. I am very thankful and appreciate all your support. I started to waterpaint about 10 years ago just by learning from others. At last I feel to realize the real joy and pleasure of playing with water and colors. I also feel that there is synchronization between watercolor painting in Japan and the one in the world. It will only accelerate by expanding the boundaries and coming together in many respects. Watercolor painting is evolving in Japan and in the world as well as mine. I find the watercolor painting now is very exciting!!
